If you’re planning to attend Coaster Con, take note:
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS UPON US!
Thursday, May 22 is the deadline for registering for Coaster Con XXXVII at
the advance registration rates! Be sure to register online by midnight on
May 22 or have your registration form postmarked and mailed by May 22.
For those who may be in the area of The Great Escape (Lake George, NY),
keep this one in mind.
From Wade Abbott, ACE Regional Rep for New York State:
The Great Escape has invited ACE members to attend the Media Day for the
opening of Extreme Supernova on Thursday, May 22nd.
We need riders as early as 5 AM.
The park will be operating Extreme Supernova and the Comet. (This year is
its 20th year at the park.)
Even better… if you attend, you can meet a NASA astronaut. They are
planning an event with this astronaut, (I believe it is Charles Precourt who
flew on the shuttle in the late 90’s).
Finally, we are also looking for some younger riders, (say 5th through 8th
grade), who are willing to don an astronaut costume for the event.
Contact Wade ASAP if you want to participate (wabbott@aceonline.org).
Thanks!
-Wade Abbott
